Cancellation and rescheduling policy

Plans change, and moving a lesson is usually no trouble at all. Here is what we ask.

Notice period

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a lesson.

This applies whatever the reason. The slot is held for you and not offered to anyone else, and at short notice it cannot be filled.

How to cancel

Email admin@french-language-worksheets.com. The notice period runs from when the message is received rather than when it was sent, so please allow for the time difference if you are cancelling overnight in Australian time.

Missed lessons

If a learner does not arrive, Kieran will wait for 15 minutes and stay available for the rest of the scheduled time. The lesson is charged in full. Arriving late does not extend the lesson past its scheduled end.

If Kieran cancels

If Kieran needs to cancel, you will get as much notice as possible and the lesson is rescheduled at a time that suits you, or refunded in full if you would rather. This applies however short the notice.

Technical problems

If a lesson cannot go ahead because of a problem at Kieran's end, it is rescheduled or refunded in full. If the problem is at your end and the lesson cannot run, the usual notice rules apply, though we will always be reasonable about a genuine one off failure.

Illness and emergencies

Illness and emergencies happen, and we do not ask for proof. The 24 hour rule still applies, because the slot is still lost, but if something serious has happened please get in touch. We cannot promise the same flexibility every time, but nobody is penalised for being honest about a genuine crisis.

Group classes

Group class places are booked by the week. Missing a class does not entitle you to a refund or a credit, because the class runs regardless. Notes, recordings and materials from any missed class are sent through afterwards.

Ending lessons

There is no contract, no notice period and no cancellation fee. You can stop at any time. Lessons already paid for and not yet taken are refunded, except where the block booking terms apply.
